Labbet in English

Labbet has been developing and promoting new writing in Swedish for more than 15 years. Our mission is to promote new playwriting and new theatre forms within Swedish language theatre in Finland. We are a small organisation, but our goal is to make a difference.

We are working with specific projects that will create means for good plays to be written. Labbet is an organisation known for its professionalism, goal-oriented ambition and artistic curiousness as well as humility regarding the process of writing.

We run courses, workshops, arrange readings, drama slams, seminars and publish play scripts as books as well as online in our Pjäsbank (Script collection). We also offer professional feedback on scripts to our paying members.

We are a non-profit organisation.
